FLIGHT CHARACTER BANDS
2:1 — STABLE
Hovers near 50% throttle. Smooth, predictable. Good for camera / cinematic and heavy-lift. Below ~1.5:1 it struggles to climb.
3–4:1 — SPORT
Hovers ~30%. Lively and responsive — the freestyle sweet spot. Plenty of authority for punch-outs without being twitchy.
5:1 — RACE
Hovers under 20%. Explosive, demands a smooth thumb. Built for racing / hard freestyle; tiring and twitchy for filming.
HOVER THROTTLE
≈ weight ÷ thrust. Lower hover point = more headroom for manoeuvres and wind. A good all-rounder sits around 2.5–3:1.
