HYLAS GEN is designed as a procedural visual generation engine for the wider Hylas ecosystem — supplying dynamic content to Milkwave, Spectraforge, and Hylas Spatial.
Milkwave specialises in live performance, preset orchestration, and AI visual direction. HYLAS GEN expands this by generating entirely new visual material — custom loops, scenes, and sequences that Milkwave can play as video assets. Future versions allow the AI conductor to request content directly: slower pacing, blue palette, cosmic mood, increasing intensity.
Spectraforge analyses BPM, mood, energy, and musical structure. HYLAS GEN transforms those interpretations into matching visual scenes. Calm piano → Lissajous Fields, ice palette, slow harmonic motion. Drum & Bass → Burning Ship fractal, acid palette, rapid zoom dynamics. The bridge turns audio intelligence into rendered output.
Inject dynamic mathematical content into Gaussian Splatting reconstructions — portals, holographic displays, interactive screens, environmental effects, and data visualisation surfaces embedded within captured 3D heritage environments.
Use HYLAS GEN as a live visual source for starting soon screens, background visuals, intermission scenes, live-reactive content, and presentation backdrops. Audio-reactive rendering responds to the broadcast audio in real time.
The goal is a fully connected pipeline: Spectraforge (audio understanding) → AI Conductor (visual direction) → HYLAS GEN (scene generation) → Milkwave (live playback). Each layer does one thing and passes its output downstream. The result is a system where music drives the generation of novel, mathematically-rendered visuals without manual intervention.
